OMBRÉ POWDER BROW

An Ombre Powder Brow is a semi-permanent makeup technique that uses a thin needle to create a soft gradient from the head of the brow to the tail.

What to expect?

Your brow area will be cleansed and then mapped. Once both parties agree on the mapped shape, you will numbed with a Topical Anesthetic Gel. A very fine needle is then used to deposit pigment into the skin creating a soft powdery look. Redness, tenderness and/or swelling may occur. These side effects should subside within a few days. You will also be given aftercare instructions and kit to help promote healing and minimise the risk of infection.

During recovery, your brows will appear darker and definer for the first few days after your procedure. Scabbing will occur shortly after. Your brows will lighten approximately 40-50% as the scabs begin to fall off.

How long does it last?

On average, results last anywhere between 1-3 years. The longevity can depend on multiple factors such as, client's personal lifestyle, aftercare, technique used, pigment used and client's skin type. Annual touchups are recommended to maintain desired look.

Is the procedure painful?

Level of discomfort varies from person to person. The level of discomfort is also based on factors such as, the area being treated, the individual's pain tolerance and the technique used. To minimise discomfort, a topical anesthetic or numbing cream is applied before and throughout the procedure.

When should I touch them up?

After the 1st session, you would need to wait at least 6 weeks before a touchup. This will give the skin enough time to fully heal. Thereafter, it is recommended to touchup annually.

Please note: The longevity of your results is affected by skin types, lifestyle, aftercare, etc.
