Lip Blush / Neutralisation

Lip Blushing is a semi-permanent makeup technique that adds a natural-looking colour into the lip using a needle. The purpose of this is to either enhance your natural colour or to neutralise the pigment in your lips. Please note, this treatment can give the illusion of fuller lips but cannot make your lips bigger.
Your lips will be evenly mapped out and a Topical numbing cream will be applied. A fine needle will then be used to deposit the agreed-upon pigment into the lip. Redness, tenderness and/or swelling may occur. These side effects should subside within a few days. You will also be given aftercare instructions and kit to help promote healing and minimise the risk of infection.

During recovery, your lips might feel tender, dry and/or swollen for the first few days. The colour will be bright and pigmented. They will start scabbing and peeling. This peeling/scabbing phase may last for up to a week. It can take the pigment up to 4 weeks to fully settle into your lips.

Can Lip Blushing make my lips bigger?
While lip blushing can make the lips appear more even and full, it cannot physically make your lips bigger. If your lips have some wrinkles in it, it is recommended to get Lip Filler BEFORE your Lip Blushing treatment. The aim of Lip Blush is to enhance your natural shape and colour.

How do we choose the correct colour?
Generally, we choose a colour based off of your natural tones in your lip as well as your skin tone. However, it is possible to bring in your favorite lipstick shade and if possible, we can recreate a similar colour. Doing bold colors, such as bright reds, is not recommended.
