A lash lift is a semi-permanent treatment that curls and enhances your natural lashes. The root of your natural lash is boosted leaving you with a lifted, lengthened appearance. A tint is then applied to darken and enhance the lashes.

What to expect?

Your eyes will be closed for the entire treatment.Your lashes will be cleansed with a gentle cleanser. The lashes will be glued onto a rod, which gives the curl to the lashes. The product will be applied to the root of the lash and left on for a couple of minutes. Once the lashes are lifted, a tint is then carefully applied. Once the treatment is complete, you will receive an aftercare package as well as instructions.

Please expect to keep the lashes dry for minimum of 24 hours post treatment.

CONTRAINDICATIONS / RESTRICTIONS

If you have any of the following, you may not be suitable for this treatment.

you had a recent eye/nose surgery or permanent make up in the eye area
Pregnant/ Breastfeeding
Any eye infections or disorders
your eyes are swollen, red, itchy or have any other signs of abnormal condition
there are any signs of eye infection, for example a stye, conjunctivitis or blepharitis
you have a hypersensitive skin
you have any condition that makes closing eyes difficult
you had an allergic reaction for any products used during the treatment
you suffer from hay fever- you won't be able to rub your eyes for 24hours
you have watery eyes. Water can reverse the treatment
you are unable to have people work closely with your eyes
you are using prescribed eye drops
you are currently on hormonal medication such as roaccutane, thyroid medication, etc
recent lasik eye surgery- you will have to wait a minumum of 6 weeks.

AFTERCARE

Please note, failure to follow the aftercare tips can affect the longevity of your results.

Keep the eye area completely dry for the first 24 hours
NO makeup, waterproof mascara for the first 24 hours
No makeup-remover or micellar water
NO curling the lashes for the first 24 hours
Refrain from rubbing your eyes
No sauna, sweating or hot steamy showers/baths for the first 24 hours
No oil-based products
Avoid rubbing or excess touching of the lashes
Brush your lashes daily

HOW TO USE YOUR AFTERCARE PACKAGE

You will be provided with an aftercare package that contains castor oil. Apply a drop of castor oil 1-3x a week onto the lash area. You can use a clean cotton bud to do this. Brush the hair's through with provided spoolie.

How long do the results last?

On average, a lash lift lasts between 6-8 weeks. However, there are multiple factors that can affect the longevity such as lifestyle, excessive sweating, not following proper aftercare instructions, etc.

Is It painful?

A Lash lift is generally painless and comfortable. You might feel some tension during the treatment but it should not hurt or be painful.

Can I wear mascara or eye makeup after my lash lift?

Yes, you can. However, you will only be able to apply mascara or makeup 24 hours after your treatment. It is encouraged not to use waterproof mascara.

Will the treatment damage my natural lashes?

A lash lift should not do any significant damage to your natural lashes. You will receive an aftercare package as well as aftercare instructions that'll help promote the health of your lashes.

Can I wash my face regularly?

It is important to keep the lashes dry for minimum of 24 hours post treatment. This includes avoiding water, steam, and any products that may come into contact with your lashes. When washing your face, be gentle around the eye area.

How often can I get a lash lift?

It is best to wait between 6-8 full weeks before getting another lash lift. This gives your lashes enough time to grow out. Getting a lash lift too often can cause damage to your natural lashes.
