& SHAPE

IMG_6651.HEIC

A Hybrid Brow Tint is a treatment that adds a semi-permanent colour to your brow hair's and skin. The aim is to enhance the brows by darkening them. Hybrid Brow results last longer than your average tint. This is the perfect first-step treatment for those who are interested in permanent makeup but hesitant.

It is encouraged to go bold on the first day to ensure your results last longer.

What to expect?

Your brows will be gently cleansed with a clean ingredient cleanser. Your brows will then be mapped to suit your face and once the shape is agreed upon, a Hybrid tint will be applied. While the tint sets, you will be waxed, tweezed and cleaned up. A barrier cream will be applied after the treatment and you will receive aftercare info.

Please note, you are expected to keep the brows dry for 24 hours.

AFTERCARE

Please note, it is extremely important to follow the Aftercare tips to ensure the longevity of your results.

  • Avoid getting the brow area wet for the first 24 hours. Keep it completely dry. This includes water, sweating, working out, hot steamy showers and baths.

  • Avoid using any oil-based products. This includes your skincare. You may apply your products around the brow area, but do not saturate the brows with products.

  • Avoid using any form of makeup remover on the brow area. This includes micellar water, makeup wipes and/or cleansing balms.

  • Avoid scrubbing and being harsh on the area when cleansing your face.

  • Avoid heat treatments for 24 hours.

  • Do not apply brow make-up for at least 24 hours after your treatment.

  • Avoid sunbathing for 24 hours, as this can cause the tint to fade.

  • Swimming/saunas are to be avoided for at least 24 hours after your treatment.

  • No perfumed products for at least 24 hours after your treatment.

  • Exposure to the sun/UV lights for long periods can cause the tint to fade quicker.

  • No self-tanning products to the area for 24 hours. Self-tanning products may alter the tint colour, so we recommend using these with caution around your brows.

How long do results last?

On average, your tint should last between 2-4 weeks. Multiple facts can affect the longevity such as skin type, lifestyle, failure to follow aftercare, etc.

Does this treatment include shaping?

Yes! Once your brows are tinted, they will be shaped using a hard wax. Your brows will also be tweezed and trimmed for a neater look.

What colour will be used?

Normally, we will match the colour of the tint to your hair. We have a range of collurs and they can be customized. If you have a specific colour in mind, you can let us know.

FAQ

Is the shape customizable?

Yes, it is. However, we do recommend enhancing your natural shape and using as much of your natural brow hair as possible. Please keep in mind, tint's fade and sparsity will be visible once again.

How can I make sure my tint lasts as long as possible?

Following the aftercare is crucial to prolonging your results. Keeping the brow dry for 24 hours after your treatment is important. Avoid using oil based products as well as any form of makeup remover.

What should I do if I have allergies?

If you have known allergies, you may ask us to perform a patch test before committing to the treatment. You may also ask about ingredients as well as brands prior. Once we have tested a small area with our tints, you will need to wait minimum of 48 hours before booking the treatment. Sometimes a reaction can only be visible days later.
